Emmanuel Obas
Emmanuel Obas is a versatile artist, singer, and songwriter who is also an advocate for Haiti. He is deeply committed to his homeland and has founded the non-profit organization "Ayiti Alaso" with a mission to change the perception of Haiti through actions in education, health, and agriculture. Emmanuel started his journey by earning a Law Degree from the Faculté de Droit et des Sciences Economique (FDSE) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1996.
He began his career as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Gérard Rouzier, managing complex corporate legal processes. Transitioning to the business world, Emmanuel served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Director of GHL SA in Port-au-Prince from 2013 to 2018.
In this role, he was instrumental in developing high-level marketing and brand strategies, guiding the company’s five branches to achieve their annual business and financial goals. In addition to his professional achievements, Emmanuel has a successful career in golf. Since 2006, he has been a Professional Golf Instructor/ Caddy at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where he mentors a diverse clientele, including prominent corporate CEOs.
His extensive golf experience also includes positions at Edgewood Country Club and Maplewood Country Club, both in New Jersey where he held the same position. Emmanuel's diverse background, from law and business to golf and the arts, reflects his dynamic approach to life. His work with "Ayiti Alaso" demonstrates his dedication to making a positive impact on Haiti by using his broad range of skills.
