If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of Haitian communities and are committed to fostering a brighter future for all, then volunteering with Ayiti Alaso may be the perfect opportunity for you. We are building a new volunteer network of supporters across Haiti and the United States who will actively participate on our behalf at events, as advocates, and in future initiatives and programs as we continue to grow.
Please note: Due to the volume of inquiries, we may not be able to contact each prospective volunteer individually. If selected for consideration, a member of our team will reach out to discuss available opportunities that align with your background or skills.
You can start by filling out our Volunteer Interest Form. As we continue to grow, we’ll reach out to volunteers based on the opportunities available that best match your skills and interests.
No, we currently do not send volunteers to any of our programs overseas. If you reside outside of the United States, please check our International Partnerships section for opportunities in your country.
Volunteers typically need to be 18 years of age or older; however, for certain short-term events, volunteers may be under 18 as long as they have signed consent from a parent or guardian.
Support for our response and recovery efforts following an emergency or natural disaster is typically done through corporate and humanitarian organization partners due to the extensive training and time requirements. If you are not part of one of these organizations and feel you are qualified to help, please tell us more about yourself in our Volunteer Interest Form, or learn more about our Emergency Response Program.
Currently, Ayiti Alaso has limited opportunities working directly with communities in need, and we are looking to expand that. Working directly with communities requires extensive background checks and safeguarding training, which we take very seriously. In the interim, please complete our Volunteer Interest Form.
